The project “Restoration of Degraded Riparian Ecosystems in Tharaka Nithi County” rehabilitates 10 km of riverbanks along the Gituma and Muthangacwa Rivers through tree planting, erosion control, and community training. Led by ACEECA and AK “EH,” it boosts biodiversity, water security, and livelihoods via bamboo agroforestry and sustainable land-use practices.
