The School Greening Programme is a flagship environmental education and sustainability initiative led by the African Centre for Environmental Energy and Climate Advocacy (ACEECA). This programme is designed to promote environmental stewardship, biodiversity conservation, and climate action among secondary school students across Kenya. Through hands-on activities like tree planting, organic gardening, and climate education, the initiative empowers young people to become active champions of a greener, healthier, and more resilient future.

The Women-Led Fruit Farming for Nutrition and Economic Growth Project is a flagship initiative by the African Centre for Environmental Energy and Climate Advocacy (ACEECA), designed to tackle malnutrition, food insecurity, and economic vulnerability in Tharaka Nithi County. Rooted in the principles of climate-smart agriculture and women’s economic empowerment, the project empowers women-led households to cultivate fruit orchards, diversify their income, and build climate resilience.

The Community-Led Conservation and Sustainable Resource Management (CCSRM) project empowers local communities to become stewards of their natural resources while improving livelihoods through sustainable practices.

Kenya faces increasing climate shocks, including prolonged droughts, erratic rainfall, and extreme temperatures, which threaten food security and livelihoods—especially in arid and semi-arid lands (ASALs). The Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience Building (CCARB) project seeks to empower vulnerable communities with locally led, sustainable solutions to adapt to climate change while enhancing long-term resilience.

The Farmers Digital Market (FDM) is a transformative digital platform developed by ACEECA to empower smallholder farmers by providing them with direct access to markets, essential agronomic information, climate-smart farming tools, and financial services. By leveraging digital innovation, the platform aims to enhance the livelihoods of farmers, reduce post-harvest losses, promote sustainable agriculture, and bridge the market access gap that has long disadvantaged rural producers.
