ACEECA engaged students at Materi Boys High School in Tharaka Nithi County in a tree-planting and climate action advocacy event, planting bamboo and other indigenous species while empowering learners with knowledge on environmental conservation under the School Greening Programme.

ACEECA partnered with the Tharaka Nithi County Government and local community groups to restore degraded riparian areas through the planting of bamboo, grevillea and calliandra. The initiative aims to stabilise soils, enhance biodiversity and support long-term ecological recovery along the river.
